Would anyone like to go in with me on a purchase of linen from fabrics-
store.com? As a regular customer, I've just gotten a 10%-off code, good
through Friday.

For those who don't know this online store, here's their mid (shirt) weight
linen in 50 colors (6.00-6.50 a yard, 59"):

and here's their light (chemise) weight linen (41 colors, 7.00-7.50 a yard, 59"):

I have bought from these guys several times, and I love 'em. The fabric is
good quality, has very few slubs, is wonderful to sew (lovely to press, not
slippery), and gets better, softer, and tighter-weaved every time you wash it.

The main reason to go in on a purchase is to reduce shipping costs per yard.
IIRC, shipping one yard costs about six bux, and eight yards about ten bux,
so you can see that, per yard, more is less. :-) It generally arrives 3 days or
so after ordering.

Let me know if you're interested... I plan to order Friday. --Lucia

P.S. The colors on the website aren't terribly accurate. If the color shown
doesn't seem to match the name, go with the name. I will bring swatches
to PiP.
