For sites that use frames, this is true... you have the choice to print only

the selected frame. However, frames have been increasingly out of favor

for quite a while now, for three main reasons:



- You usually can't bookmark framed pages.

- Using the "back" button can produce, er, unexpected results.

- (The biggie) Google doesn't deal well with framed pages.



For most current sites, you're gonna get all the navigation, ads, etc. on

your printout unless the designer has specifically coded it so that you 
don't

(and hardly any of them do this).
