Heck, when I saw Return of the Jedi, I was scared the Ewoks were going
to take over the world too.
 
Thank goodness they were replaced by Jar Jar Binks....

My very first cinema movie was Texas Chainsaw Massacre.  I was 10 or 11
at the time IIRC.  The woman that raised me took me to see it, we came
home, I played in the yard, went to bed, no fuss.
 
The next week, we went to go see Return of the Jedi cause she had really
enjoyed watching the 'first' one and thought that I would enjoy it as
well.  We came home and I refused to go to bed.  
 
I was convinced that the ewoks were going to come get me.
 
Yes, yes, I know.  This explains so much.  =D
