I was 5 when it came out, and remember my brother collected all the
figures as well as some architechural pieces (something like the Barbie
Dream House, only much less welcoming).  He also was fond of mangling
the Storm Trooper figures so they looked all blown up in battle.  
 
I thought he was nuts.  I don't know how old I was when I first saw it,
but since it wasn't a chick flick, I wasn't impressed.  I did like all
the fuzzy characters though - thought they were cute.
