I cannot think of a single woman who would have described Harrison Ford/Han
Solo as "fuzzy."  I can think of a lot of other adjectives they've used, but
that's not one of them.  :P

HE Sir Sean McFlamm appointed me (my other persona, Friar Fles) Patriach of
Ansterroa in 1977, but I never received an "official scroll" in the
matter.&nbsp; I've often wondered where that leaves old Friar Fles?

Candace & I arrived at that Steppes Warlord from Houston, stayed in street
clothes, setup tent to claim a spot, tossed everything inside, and drove
down to the nearest  theater and got in line ...  one that went almost round
the building

That was back when I still lived in Houston. I remember Telbyrne and Janet
showing up late to a Stargate business meeting raving about this really cool
movie they'd just seen...

By the time we got back from Steppes Warlord that year, the movie had enough
word-of-mouth publicity that it took an hour or two of standing in line to
get in. When I went to see it a few weeks later, the lines were *still* an
hour or two long.

Speaking of such things, if anyone sees a older model Consew industrial
machine (with the industrial class table and leg set) being sold for cheap,
let me know (with serial number if possible).

I loaned mine out to complete a commissioned project and the SOB moved with
it.  Later heard he stayed in area and turned into a meth/crack junkie and
was since shunned by everyone who knew him due to things "going missing".
Matter was reported to police and I've been keeping my eye open for a
certain serial number (that's on the police report) so I can reclaim the
property and track down that individual (to find out what happened to some
other things also involved)

Limbo I think.  Fles makes an appearance every now and again.  More people
knmow his "brother" Nomaan though.

Hopefully I'll find the time, the money and the courage to come out and play
full-time again sometime in the future.

My departure from the SCA was under less than ideal circumstances, not to
mention, extremely painful emotionally.
