[Bryn-gwlad] Bryn Gwlad announce

O.k, yes the bg-announce list has been created.  I haven't yet gotten other
moderators, people who can post automatically, etc. all figured out.  I was
going to work on it tomorrow.  In otherwords, it is a list, but it isn't
functioning the way I want it to yet just because I haven't had a chance to
sit down and mess with it.

There are a few of you who have subscribed.  Please realize, right now the
whole Bryn Gwlad list is subscribed to the BG-announce list.  This means
that you will receive the message if you are subscribed to the bg list.  (At
least in theory, we haven't tested it yet.)  What this list will be good for
is for those people to subscribe a mailing address that they don't want all
of the bryn gwlad messages but they do want the important messages.

So, for an example, our seneschal can not receive a lot of personal email at
her work email.  She could subscribe to the bg-announce list with her work
email address so she could stay apprised of the situations for fighter
practice etc, but she wouldn't have to have the chitter-chatter of the main
Bryn Gwlad list.  

There will be only selected types of messages that will be allowed on the
bg-announce list.  At this time, we've not written down specifics, but the
list information will have those listed as soon as we have them.

In otherwords, people can go ahead and subscribed to this list only if they
want to.  However, realize that this list isn't fully functional yet but
hopefully will by the end of the week.
