Greetings...
Having tried a simliar plan several years ago in another Barony, it looks
really good and is very ambitious, but even with the largest of groups
(which BG is no longer the largest in Ansteorra, Elfsea is), it wears out
the workers very quickly.
A plan of quarterly or every 4 months is a more constructive skedule that
can be met with more fresh troops for producing the desired results of
what we all would expect.
Please, do not think that everyone is poo-phoohing the idea....that is NOT
the case.
We just need to retain the perspective of resources and personal "SCA Time
Units" available to members of the Barony.
I do think to plan ahead, maybe even as much as a year in advance for the
tourneys in theme and stewards would be a great idea as that puts the
group way ahead of the curve on preperation and quality potential for the
event.
I would suggest we set the next years worth of tiny tourneys, every 3-4
months and go for it. Make them really good and have fun.
We could begin with your "Dessert" culinary tourney.
In Service,
Niklas
