It seemed appropriate for a 15th cent. German mercenary. Icefalcon makes high-end armour at high-end prices, but if you like these pieces you might do something in a similar style making some of the parts yourself.
Ty was talking about doing 11th cent. Rus in the Varangian guard, so my favorite body armour (lamellar) will work for him. Lamellar lames are available from:
