Let me suggest that during the next business meeting or populus meeting (or PIP) you formally propose this before the group and get a green light and then ask the ACF organizers.  I'm excited too, but we must go through the proper channels and I just don't have the time or energy right now.  It does sound like there's enough people willing to participate to put it together.
