I am not trying to turn you into an Italian, I only gave an example of what
I have been looking at.
To go over your 10-gore dress, I would recommend the semi-circular /
rectangular / trapezoidal shape cloak. Alternatively, if you look at "Woven
Into The Earth" there is a loose man's coat with buttons down the front.
It is similar in style to what is worn by the small boy in the lower left
corner of the painting: 1380, The Execution of Saint George, ALTICHIERO da
Zevio (I believe this can be found at www.wga.hu).
It is Italian, but very similar to what was in Greenland.
