Hi! We'd be glad to have you come out on Tuesday, or even this Sunday for the archery tournament and melees in Leander.

You live on a fleece farm? How marvelous! And I take it you are a spinster (original meaning, not the later derivative). That is really great. I know that several local folks have at least tried spinning and/or felting. Felting is on my list of things to learn because I like to use wool felt or just raw wool quilted between layers of linen for armour padding. We also have several weavers (mostly with inkle looms or tablet weaving looms) who might take an interest in your spun thread, and an active herbalist guild that might provide some advice on historical dyes.

So, what do you like to make out of your spun wool thread?

I live on a fleece farm with my friend, so I am about angora goats, sheep and llamas all the time. I would love to get involved, as I want to meet people that have my interests, and generally have fun.
