The Baron in his infinite wisdom and early scientific mind has decided to conduct an experiment 
in economics.  
Bartering! 

Early mans’ commerce was built on the barter system, involving a simple exchange of goods 
and or services. A 
craftsman, for instance, might trade a tanned hide or a carved icon for a supply of grain or 
milk. 

In order to supply a coincidence of wants (i.e. the craftsman wanting milk and the herdsman 
wanting that craft) 
the baron not only is allowing a barter system to be established, but is setting it up with his 
own stock to start 
the system going.  So one could trade a promissory note for a bardic piece of about the 
baron for a well-tested 
wax taper luminary.

Please come and barter with any and all objects or services at your disposal.

1 hr kitchen duty					hank of floss
Exorcism of your livestock			a tankard
Blessing on a household				a shoe
future marshalling or waterbearing           pieces of cloth,
future gatekeeping or feast-serving          glass containers
future singing or NOT singing :)                pottery
a garb of wheat when harvested                goblets
a sarpler of wool when spun                      plates
a pledge of arms in case of war                 banner
a tankard at the tavern!
