[Bryn-gwlad] Boffer Weapons

Artorius used a foam kick-board from the pool-toys section of Academy Sports and Outdoors as the basis for his halbard. It was thick enough to hold up after putting the 1/2" pvc haft through it. He used a knife to make an x-shaped hole through the foam and then forced the shaft through, then used lots of strapping tape to secure it in place.

Pool noodle is best for swords but sometimes other foam shapes are desired. There is also some dense computer-packing foam that works well for boffer weapons if you can find it in the shapes you need.
