[Bryn-gwlad] Introductions

Salvete Omnes!
 
I am Marcus Artorius, and I have recently moved to the area from California, though I am originally from Kentucky. I have participated with the SCA in the past, but due to numerous issues, I have yet to participate on a grand level. I am hoping that will change with this recent move.
 
When is a good time to come out and meet the locals? When are the fighter practices and what are they like? How do they prepare someone to fight in the SCA here? I’ve yet to do more fighting than a couple practice sessions, and would love to become involved with SCA hard suit fighting. Also, what other sort of activities are there in the Barony?
