Greetings unto the most wonderful Populace of Bryn Gwlad!

Candlemas has come and gone, Our Father has sought his rest from the burden
of leadership.  Many thanks to His Excellency Thomas for his years of
service to Bryn Gwlad.  As he has done many times before, Thomas rocked the
house.

We wish to say thank you to all those who helped make Candlemas the joyous
event it was.  Mistress Gwyneth, your vision for the day was wonderfully
carried out.  The meeting of two kings at peace was truly a sight to
behold.  Mistress Clarissa...wow.  Once again, you have proven you are an
absolute wizard of the kitchen.  That was a delicious feast.  Thank you to
Lady Pamphlina for coordinating the A&S Compettion and Lady Vyvyanne for
running the Bardic.  We had 8 bards for vying to be the new Bard of Bryn
Gwlad, and 10 Artisans who entered the A&S competition.  Congratulations to
our new Champions, Lady Mea for Bardic and Mistress Riannon for A&S!
Centurion Uther...the 'peaceful competition" was quite enjoyable...I am
sorry I was not there to witness you death by turkey leg.  Mistress Saundra,
thank you for making sure the gate ran smoothly.  Thank you to all the
instructors for sharing your knowledge.

Thank you to Lord Dante and Lord Jason for making sure that the Royal
Huntsman tourney on Sunday was a lot of fun.  The weather was great...and
the Huntsman still lives in Bryn Gwlad.  Congratulations to Master Pug, the
new Royal Huntsman!

Thank you to those who helped Gwenneth and myself personally, you all made
the day so much better by making sure we were where we needed to be, when we
needed to be there.  HL Myfanwy, you are magnificent.  Thank you.

I wanted to thank all those who helped set up the hall and assisted with
clean up, led by Lady Isabella and Lord Colin.  The hall was beautiful and
we all got out in good fashion.  I know I am missing people, but you will
have to forgive us, we are still processing the events of the weekend.

This Barony is truly amazing.  The people here come up with ideas that would
daunt most.  And then they go out and do them.  We are honored to serve as
your Baron and Baroness and look forward to creating more wonderful memories
for us all.  Thank you, Bryn Gwlad.  We should all be proud of what we all
do.
