Does anyone know anything about working "spring stainless"?

 

What steel is it exactly?

 

Are they talking about work hardened austenitic stainless?

 

Or are talking of high strength martenistic steels?

 

Or something else all together which can be hardened by

Quenching and tempering like Carbon steel?

 

What processes are used to harden and temper the material?

 

I thinking about trying some hot work to make a set of spring stainless ½ gauntlets, 

For experimentation, but I must admit I don't know a lot about it.
