Not entirely true, Sir. Meridies has a tradition of their royals 'dying' 
at the end of their reign.

On the other hand, this also means that that schtick has been done 
(though not here). But I would expect a performer of Thomas' caliber to 
be able to make it entertaining.

Of course, if he 'dies', would the body have to lie in state so the 
populace could mourn his passing?
