[Bryn-gwlad] The possible return of sunday practice !!!

I agree with Gunnvardr on the idea of a solid Sunday practice.  My wife,
Siobahan and myself, have noticed how difficult it is for the adult fighters
with children.  As of right now I am not fighting heavy... yet, so the kids
boffer just makes things a little difficult for us on Tuesdays.  We do have
to give the kids slack for Wed. because of how late we get in on Tues., so I
can only imagine how bad it is for those who live further away than us.  One
of the main reasons I got with Uther about being a deputy was so that I
could possibly run a Youth Sunday practice with the heavy fighter practice,
so the kids could get more time in.

Second, I agree with Gunnvardr about the location problem.  There is no
protection from the elements and in all honesty if we have a great PiP it's
a little small too.  The lights cut on about half way through Youth and cut
out too early.  My wife and I are planning to take some time this weekend
and review some of the schools and parks between Hwy 183N and 38th Str.
(North and South) and between IH-35 and Mopac (East and West).  If there are
some parks or schools in particular anyone feels we should give a look
please let me know.  Also, I know this issue has more than likely come up
before... so does anyone know if there is an archive or something regarding
decisions made in the past.  I would really hate to waste time looking at
something that has already been shot down.  In talking with several members,
our goal here is to be able to present one or several locations, at the
business meeting, that offer protection from the elements, larger size, and
lighting without having to consider too large of a location change.

Either way a second PiP/Fighter practice/youth practice on Sunday or change
in location for Tues. PiP or both should yield us greater exposure than we
are currently getting.

Also my children and I will be at PiP tonight at 6:30pm with the youth
loaner gear as Uther stated earlier.  It's my first time running it so I
will do my best and I am open to suggestions should anyone notice I screw up
too much.  Lol.

I apologize if I stepped on toes, but I have noticed we are a free speaking
Barony and that is a good thing.
