Welcome to Valhalla;
Duchy Lunagaarden will be hosting an after revel following the Candlemas event, to provide new life to those who have fallen in the line of duty at Candlemas. As last year's cheese tasting party was such good fun, we shall do again - only this time with more cheese! All are welcome to join us in minor revelry, as we share the bounty of our well-tended lands with those of the grand Barony of Bryn Gwylad and travellers to our event, Candlemas.
Join Hoegaarden and Chiara in a sampling of cheeses from around the world! Simply show up or bring along a stylish cheese to share with friends. Here's what delictible treats are already prepared (to avoid duplication)...
Cypress Grove - Truffle Tremor
Cheddar with Guiness (a crowd favorite from last year)
Cave Aged Gruyere
Jasper Hill Farm: Bayley Hazen Bule Cheese
Pecorino Fi Anno
Whiskey Cheddar
White STilton w/ Blueberries
Iniekaas Gold Label - Aged Gouda
Cerise - White Stilton w/ Cherries
and the Cheese Doctor recommended Chablis Perigord - Feville
We will also have gargantuan bites of Brisket, chips, and a few other snacks.
We also have a few beers (Hoegaarden, Avery - the White Rascal, etc) to taste (along with the cheese), but if you like to drink in addition to taste you might choose to bring along a few of your favorites (be it soda, beer, wine, etc).
Of course it will not matter whether you came to support the saxons or the danes at the Candlemass event (wink, wink), you will still be welcome.
See you all Saturday at the event as King Guntrum!
Hoegaarden and Chiara
p.s. We'll have some maps available at the event, but in case we miss you - use your best method (mapquest, google, etc) to locate
