That is correct--gloves and a head protector are required.  Shooters 
must wear either a heavy weapons helm or at minimum a fencing mask.  But 
the kidney belt, cup, etc. are not required.  Anyone who wishes to shoot 
but doesn't have the gear required can use the loaner gear we will have 
available.  In fact, all the gear needed for either archers or 
armbrusters will be available, so anyone wishing to shoot can find all 
the items necessary at the event.
