CR - BG - I love a good wedding!

Greetings m'lords and ladies, 

I'm writing on behalf of two friends of mine who are engaged to be
married.  They would very much like to have a 'period' wedding
complete with costumes, minstrels, etc.  They're considering
Scarborough Faire, an annual renaissance festival here in Texas, where
I believe one can purchase a 'wedding package' of sorts, but my
friends would prefer to have their costumes made from patterns they've
selected rather than rent them.  As neither I nor they are yet members
of the S.C.A., and thus know of no one else who's done this sort of
thing, we don't really know where to start.  I'm hoping that someone
out there may be able to provide me with some helpful information
which I can pass on to my friends.  I and my friends would certainly
appreciate any help.
