[Central] [Ansteorra] TENTATIVE for Elfsea Defender: A&S 50 Challenge "gathering"

AMENDMENT / Clarification:  I mumbled&jumbled my way through this announcement sufficiently that I may have given an improper impression.  Thanks to several for (properly!) challenging my wording.

 

1.  The estimable Event Steward Elspeth is working with me to try and make sure the gathering/discussion conflicts with as few other activities as possible.  I thank her and bless her down to the tips of her dainty toes for being so accepting of something tossed her direction late in the pre-Event cycle.

 

2.  I'm working with Elspeth to that same end of introducing as little conflict as possible.  As part of thateffort, and since there *is* a possibility that I won't be able to follow through (mundane responsibilities), and to try and maintain optimum flexibility, I put in the bit about placards & heralds to share the time / place once they are determined.

 

3.  Peace is.  Coolness is.  The A&S 50 Challenge really does try to increase both, even when some of the advocates for the thing have a tendency for hoof-in-mouthiness.  [f/x: finger pointing at self]

 

(Personal note to the event steward:  Elspeth, I'll get more sleep between now and then.  YOU go get more sleep too, please?  You'll need it before, during, and after the event.)

> For those who may not already know, the A&S 50 Challenge is a self-judged challenge to create fifty new items related to Breadth, Depth, or Persona by Anno Societatis 50 (we are just about to enter AS44, on May Day). Breadth is intended to represent new areas in your experience, Depth is for more detail / greater complexity in areas you already "know", and Persona entails items that your persona would have known or used in the normal course of their lives. What constitutes an "item" is part of that self-judged concept. For the serious Challenger, it is even possible to mount an all-out assault on your senses and sanity and participate in multiple Challenges.
