The first meeting of the Homemaker's Guild will be the 2nd Wednesday of
April, and we will be making soap. Each person who comes will take some
home with them when they leave. 

We will probably repeat the soap class later in the month for those who
couldn't make it the first time.

The May meeting will be making meat pies. (Gee, that was a hard
decision!) I'll contact all of those who know how; Cateau, Manfred,
Godwin, Galen, Beatrix, Charla, and even Meliora, :) , and round up some
teachers. If I can talk them into it I'll get each of them to bring a
sample of their wares for us to eat during the meeting.

The whole idea of this guild was to learn some about how these things
were done/made in the Middle Ages and Renaissance, but also to learn how
to do or make these things today. It's fun to make your own bread,
baskets, soap, etc., or to take a meat pie to an event and share with
your friends.
