Hello Coastal Readers,
I would like to invite anyone who can come to our monthly meeting.  The
purpose of this group is to get inside the heads of the peoples we are
trying to recreate. Last month we had a great discussion on nobility and
chivalry.  This included some very diverse readings, from Beowulf to El
Cid.  We are reading period selections from the Medieval Reader, by
Norman Cantor.  The topic changes every month so you can jump in on the
middle.  April's selection will be the section on the Church's effect on
culture, Pages 28-59.  If you need directions email me at
