CR - Medieval Interest Group at UH Central needs artistic inspiration

Is the group meeting at UH going to do anything but fight? Are we going to have guild meetings
there, for instance? If so, let's mention that too. When I was a full time student living on UH
campus, I would walk past the heavy fighters practicing. I was curious, but I then had no
conception of how complex the SCA is.
They were just "those guys that go fight." No demonstration of our arts and sciences, our bardic,
or historical research side was given. If there had been I probably would have joined the SCA a
lot sooner. If this ad brings in people who are really interested in the SCA in all its forms,
we'll all win.
For many of us, UH is rather central. Not a bad place to have meetings, without all the trouble of
finding someone's house.
Anyone want to comment?
Maureen
