CR - Stargate Youth Rapier

Greetings,

Stargate's Youth Rapier practice will be moving to the combined Baronies'
practice location at the University of Houston beginning this coming
Tuesday, September 28th.  Our practice will begin at about 7 pm.  The
location is on the UH campus at Entrance 13 on Cullen, near Wheeler (just
across from Robertson Stadium).

Youth Rapier is open to anyone ages 12 through 17.  A parent needs to have
read and understood the Youth Rapier Rules and a waiver needs to be on file
in order for the youth to practice.  Both will be available at the practice.

A parent or legal guardian must be present during the entire practice.  We
are going to be conservative and ask that the parent be very close by and
paying attention during drills and when their child is sparring until an
official policy is set by the Kingdom.

If you would like to begin practicing this coming Tuesday, please wear
shoes that do not have a slick sole (such as athletic shoes or hiking
boots).  Young men will also be required to have personal protection should
they wish to fight.

If you already have some equipment which you would like to use, please
bring it so that it can be inspected.
