CR - Baroness Adelicia's Favors

Greetings unto all to whom these presents shall come from Lord Stephen 
Macthomas, seneschal of the Canton of Gate's Edge.

The recent illness of Baroness Adelicia Brabant, Gate's Edge historian and 
one of the canton's founding members, has shocked and saddened many of us 
fortunate enough to know this fine lady.  At Stargate Baronial, four dozen 
favors were distributed and worn in her honor.  These favors were graciously 
produced by Lady Caelainn O'Comraidhe, Gate's Edge minister of children, and 
Lady Gwynafwy Sinclaire, Gate's Edge chatelaine and sewing guild principal.  
I would like to thank these two very fine ladies for their efforts on this 
labor of love.  I also would like to thank Their Stellar Majesties Timotheos 
and Allyson, Their Sentinel Excellencies Godwin and Elisena, and our past 
Baron and Baroness of Stargate, Master Michael and Mistress Neassa, for 
wearing these favors in support of our fair court baroness in Gate's Edge.  I 
would especially like to thank those fighters who included Adelicia in their 
salutes on the field at Stargate Baronial and wore her favor during the 
tournaments.  It turned out that four dozen favors were not nearly enough to 
meet the need for the good gentle lords and ladies of the Coastal Region to 
show their support of Baroness Adelicia, and for this, I wish to apologize.

Last night at the Gate's Edge populace meeting, it was decided that we will 
create more favors in Baroness Adelicia's honor.  These favors are 
handkerchiefs with one corner painted with roses and the initial A.  We will 
make another batch of two dozen favors and after this will create them on an 
as-requested basis.  If you wish to join in Gate's Edge's support of Baroness 
Adelicia and her husband of 54 years, Baron Talmon, please contact me

All those who have these tokens of honor are also requested to join the 
populace of Gate's Edge in wearing them until she has once again returned to 
our meetings and events.

Again, I wish to thank all of those good lords and ladies who have helped to 
support our beloved Adelicia and Talmon through this roughest of times.
