Here are the directions to our house:

Make your way to 290.  Take the 43rd Street exit.  If you're coming from the
North take a left, from the South, take a right.  Take a left at Antoine,
another left at Acorn, another left at Reno and finally one more left at De
Lange Ln. (spiraling in like a moth to a flame).  Our house is the 4th one
on the right: 5607 De Lange Ln.

Greetings!

Just a reminder that the first Stargate Insignia Guild meeting will take
place tomorrow evening, Thursday, April 26, at the home of HL Gerald and
Lady Caitlin.  (Thanks again to this wonderful couple for volunteering their
home.)  We will have kits prepared for 15 people to do an embroidered
medallion with the insignia of either a Thistle, Comet or Crane (everyone:
oh my).  Lady Tegan Gwyllt of the Canton of Gate's Edge will be teaching
this first class.  In addition, we will have an unofficial roundtable
discussion about insignia making tips and will discuss some other ideas that
participants would like to see happen in future meetings, which will (for
right now) be taking place on the FOURTH THURSDAY of every month at Gerald
and Caitlin's home.  That means May's meeting will be on Thursday, May 24 -
go ahead and mark your calendars now.  Because of the lead time involved in
getting materials secured for weaving award ribbons, we'll advertise those
meetings some time in advance.  For right now, our first weaving session
will be June 28.  (Bring or borrow a loom, please - if you have extras that
you don't mind lending, please bring those as well.)

Gerald and Caitlin's home is 5607 De Lange, Houston, 77092 - near the
intersection of Antoine and 43rd.  Directions will follow in a subsequent
post, or just call up their address on Mapquest.
