[Coastal] A&S Championship at Seawinds Defender - Oct. 26-28th

Greetings Artisans and populace of Ansteorra, 
   
  A dual A&S competition, with both judged and populace vote formats, will be held at the Seawinds Defender event, Oct. 26-28th, see event details at: http://www.seawinds.org/defender/
   
  * There will be an A&S Populace vote competition from 10am till 5pm.   
  Populace will receive one bead to select the artwork favored most. 
  A prize basket will be provided to the populace favorite.  
   
  * A judged competition will be held to determine the next Artisan of the Seawinds.  
  One item maybe entered, documentation is required.  A Middle Eastern theme is suggested, but all themed entries are welcome.  Ansteorran A&S judging sheets will be used. A&S entries setup is from 10am till noon, judging begins at noon.  
   
  Prizes for the judged competition include a scroll designed by HL Iona and HL John Lightfoot, a prize basket filled with wonderous beauties and a knotwork glass window; along with the honor of being named Seawinds Artisan.  
   
  And there be Classes in the afternoon:
    - Lucetting by Lady Joanna the Spinner
  - Vocal Heraldry by Lord Brian O'hUilliam
  - Weaving by HL John Lightfoot
     (this will be an ongoing demo throughout the day, not an actual class)
  - Equestrian Toys by Lady Calena
  - Cordials by Lady Caitriona
  - Wire-Beaded Fibulas by Mst. Hillary Greenslade
