<DIV>Pleasanton (South of SA) 61 miles from site</DIV>
<DIV>Beeville or Kenedy 45 miles from site</DIV>
<DIV>San Antonio 87 miles from site (to center of SA)</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>There is also camping available at the site, Choke Canyon State Park, Calliham Unit. This is a beautiful park with nice facililties--showers!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> Walk-in camping (no electricity and water) is $12 a night</DIV>
<DIV>Campsites with electricity and water are $20 per site</DIV>
<DIV>screened shelters are $40 per night</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>There is a limit of 8 people per campsite and a limit on the number of cars.</DIV>
<DIV>If you choose to camp you will need to call the State Park reservation desk at </DIV>
<DIV>361-389-8900 or you can wait til you get to the park to see if there is anything available.</DIV>

<DIV>The gate opens at 6 am and closes at 10pm. You must call the park, 361-786-3868, by 5 pm if you will be arriving after 10 pm to camp.</DIV>
