[DFT] Guardian of the Tor XII competition

Guardian of the Tor XII is coming April 25th – 27th. Thought you might like
to know what the formats would be for the competitions.

Heavy Fighting – 4 (yes 4) hours of competition in the “Dragon pit”. Fight
as much as you can or as little as you want.

Light Fighting – 4 (yes another 4) hours of competition. Show your skill and
endurance.

Archery – you have to be there to find out what the format will be. It is a
surprise. Be prepared!

Bardic – 2 pieces per person. The judge(s) will choose their favorite.
This will be held at night around a fire.

Knife/Axe – 3 throws in each discipline. It may look easy but it is not.

Brewing – Adult – wine and beer. You may submit more than one entry.
Documentation is a plus however not a requirement. Our Judges will sample
your submission(s) of course, so bring enough.

Brewing – Children – non-alcoholic. You may submit more than one entry.
Documentation is a plus however not a requirement. Judging will be done by
tasting so bring enough.

We will also have a garter toss to raise monies for the Kingdom. You must be
21 or older (ID’s will be checked).  Toss the garter and encircle a bottle
of wine to win that beverage. Who knows maybe a few bottles of home brew
beer will be added.

There is a possibility of  “The Stocks”. Has anyone wronged you lately? This
would be your opportunity to bring it to their attention.

We will also have merchants.

As last but not least feast at court. Have you made your reservation and
payment yet???
