[DFT] Guardian of the Tor XII thank you

Good day to everyone. I wanted to say what a glorious weekend we had for
Guardian of the Tor XII. The sun shown bright and the competitions were
magnificent. I hope that you all enjoyed yourselves and thank you for coming
to our event.

I just have to say this. I did clean up after the event and it was one of
the easiest jobs I have ever had. There was nary a thing to pick up. You all
left the site in excellent condition. I am just sooooooo impressed. Thank
you, Thank you.

We thank the Broken O Ranch for the use of their land and the wonderful meal
they prepared for us.

I want to thank my co-autocrat Lord Guyon Dupre. His help was immeasurable.
I thank him for getting our water problem fixed and the numerous other
things he took care of for me. Without him I would have been lost a number
of times. Thank you Guyon.

Loch Ruadh stepped in and handled Troll for us and did an outstanding job.
Thank you so much for your contribution of time. I cannot say how much I
appreciate it.

To all on the set up and break down crews, without you we would not have had
an event. Thank you for all your hard work.

Logathar created a beautiful glaive for our quest of a smile. I happen to
know that the winner did not let go of it and took it to work with him on
Sunday. Thank you Logathar.

Rhionna Hanna Carmichael. If it were not for this lady we would not have had
our tokens done on time. She put in much time and effort on them. Plus she
worked as list mistress, and any other task that needed to be done. Thank
you Rhionna

Cairistiona nic Laren was also one of our list mistresses. And did an
excellent job. She also helped on site tokens and pendants for our pavilion.
Thank you Cairistiona.

Thora Olafsdottir has been most helpful through out getting ready for this
event. As our Minister of Arts & Science she made sure the pendants for our
pavilion were done. They were most impressive. In addition she worked at the
water bearers table and helped in other areas. Thank you Thora.

Genevieve del Gamba is our Chirurgeon and took such wonderful care of us
all. She made sure everyone had enough hydration and attended to all of our
owies. (probably not spelled correctly) She stepped in during preparation
for the event and we could not have done without her. Thank you Genevieve.

Lady Desiree put together our champions baskets. She is so much more
talented at this than I am. They were beautiful. She also put together and
ran the garter toss. She was able to bring in $57.00. Thank you Lady
Desiree.

Ravinger Wolfkin ran the stocks and was able to bring in $39.00. Urlich of
Carolingia spent so much time in the stocks he had to get a special reprieve
to get out. Then was put back in by the King.

Hengist, does this man ever stop??? No matter what was asked of him he did
without question. This included a nasty garbage detail with me before the
event started. Thank you Hengist.

Ailgenan mac Aeda meic Canann helped in with pre-event matters, set up,
breakdown and a number of other things. Thank you Ailgenan

Dragonsfire Forge ran the Knife/Axe/Spear. With Lord Eoghan mac Cinatha
as their leader, they made numerous weapons for the event. In addition they
were instrumental in putting our pavilion together, poles, ropes etc. For a
plain white pavilion all that color made it magnificent. Thank you
Dragonsfire Forge.

Our Herald: Seanán mac Tighearnáin put together our website information,
helped with break down, and is a part of Dragonsfire Forge. Thank you
Seanan.

Thomas donated a gouache and bishops mantel that he made for our prize
baskets. He also was involved in pre event preparation. Thank you Thomas.

Thank you to our merchants for your donations. I hope it was a profitable
day for you.

If I have missed anyone please forgive me, I say thank you to you now.
