Thank you all for your thoughts and words of encouragement. We're doing ok just now, but the first chemo treatment is in the morning. Our *volunteer angel* Carolyn King from the American Cancer Society says that they've made leaps and bounds in treatment of multiple myeloma in the last few years. She gave me the web address to find a lot of info about the cancer. It says she will probably only have mild side effects. Hopefully. *big sigh of relief!* Just keep your fingers crossed for us.
