[DFT] Fund Raiser

Greetings DFT,

I just returned from Elfsea’s moot and during moot a report on the progress of Defender was made.  Elfsea is planning a number of fund raisers with all the proceeds being donated to the family of Terick Jackson, the 15 year old son of Count Owen and Countess Ginevria, of Oklahoma, who lost his life this weekend in a fire that also took the family home and all of the family belongings.  Besides me, Keith, Desi, Ann, Courtney, Diana and Alicia from DFT were also in attendance.  After the meeting Keith, Alicia and myself had a meeting and we all felt it would not be appropriate to also have a fund raiser were DFT would keep the proceeds and maybe take funds away from a more noble cause.  So we thought it would be best not to have our fund raiser at Defender.  We will be asking the populace and the Autocrat for Guardian if we can hold this raffle at this year’s Guardian.

I would like to thank all who have volunteered to help with this raffle.
