The Barony of Elfsea's 25th Defender event is this coming weekend! Join us
for Baron Alejandro's final court, the first court of our incipient Baron
Gerhart and Baroness Elspeth, the knighting of Elfsea's former Baron Daire,
and the White Scarf ceremony for Brian O'hUilliam. There will be
tournaments to decide champions for Chivalric, Rapier and Archery fighting,
youth fighting and a novice tourney, feast and taverns, A&S
mini-competitions, a subtlety competition, a display of items from Elfsea's
history, merchants and a blacksmith shop. So much to see and so much to do
in one fun-filled weekend!
On Sunday, Sir Alejandro and Guyon Dupre will be hosting charity Chivalric
and Rapier tournaments to benefit Count Owen and Countess Genevria, in
between the archery championship and the novice tournament.
The event will be held at the Sid Richardson Boy Scout Ranch, just outside
of Bridgeport, TX and the site will open at noon on Friday, April 4th and
close at 4pm on Sunday, April 6th. Site fees are $13 for adults, $6 for
children ages 6-15, free for age 5 and under, with a family max of $39. A
sign-up sheet for Saturday night's feast will be at gate (if spots are
still available), with a fee of $10 per person.
Alcohol will be permitted on site as long as it is in period containers.
Recognizable bottles/containers must be hidden from view, and items seen
by event staff will be thrown away immediately. There will be several
parties Saturday night and we expect those in attendance to behave with
respect to each other, to those camping around them, and to the site
regulations.
Well mannered pets are permitted as long as they are leashed. Service
animals are always welcome!
We look forward to seeing you there!
Countess Elizabeth Seale & Countess Amelot Lisette
