[DFT] DEMO at Tarleton State University in Stephenville March 28th

Greetings,

Dragonsfire Tor will be presenting a DEMO at Tarleton State University in
Stephenville.  It will be this Saturday, March 28th, from 10am to about 4pm.
This DEMO will be part of the TexanCon Anime and Comic Book Convention.  We
are looking for fighters, A&S displays, and A&S demonstrations.  We will be
at the Barry B. Thompson Student Center at the corner of W. Vanderbilt St.
and N. Lillian.  This is the same place we were at last year.  We will be
able to use the Vanderbilt parking lot, that is the one between the fine
arts center and the math building.

We will be fighting in the amphitheater on the south side of the center.  We
will be able to have both heavy and rapier fighting.  Tamsin Wylde, our
Rapier Marshal, will be there for the rapier fighters and Harries from
Elfsea will be there for the heavy fighters and both will have loaner gear.


For A&S, we will have the use of 4-5 tables inside for displays and
demonstrations.  Any type of hands-on activity would be appreciated.  We
would also like to have a table for period games.  So please bring your
chairs, games, A&S projects and fighting gear and join us in the fun as we
show the students of Tarleton what the SCA is all about.
