[DFT] Queen"s Champion

TAT-TA------TA-DA - TAT-TA-----TA-DA!!


This is me tooting DFT’s HORN.


YES!  Last weekend Queen’s Champion was held at Old Fort Parker and it was
hosted by the Canton of Dragonsfire Tor.  And, Queen Sonja liked it!


I would like to thank Lady Aaliz, the Event Steward, and Baroness Janie,
her Co-steward, for running such a great event.  Countess Amelot, thank you
for all of your help and encouragement.  Well done ladies!!!


I would like to thank Lady Katheryn Margarete de Ryes (Cat) and Lord Kazimierz
Zlowieszczy (Dennis) and their crew from Stone Falcon:

Antonia Visconti (Michelle)

Geirmarr inn Seki (Ben)

Idony Tyrgsdottir (Sabrina)

Melodie Ann de Ryes (Melanie)

They prepared the delicious sideboard luncheon and they came in under
budget!!


I would like to thank Lady Diana for running the Gate, and again it worked
out to the penny.


I would really like to thank all of the DFT members who attended and helped
with everything from set up to clean up.


DFT also fielded 4 fighters and a Marshal.  Our own, Lord Guyon won Queen’s
Blade of Honor.


I would also like to thank The Barony of Elfsea, who supported us in this
endeavor.


Saturday morning we offered a hot breakfast of eggs, bacon with no beacon,
hash browns, and coffee.  All items were donated by Lady Aoife, Lord Guyon,
Master Caelin, Lady Kazuki, and Lord Gallandon. Since all of the food items
were donated, 100% of the donations collected were given to the Crown for
their travels.   It was all made possible by the cooking and hard work of
Lady Aoife and Lady Astridr.


I would like to thank Queen Sonja and the Kingdom for giving Dragonsfire
Tor the opportunity to serve.
