Elfsea Baronial College is only 3 weeks away and I can’t wait. :D It will
be a great day of learning, artistry and bardic. Fun for the whole family. The
Baron and Baroness of Elfsea will be choosing their new Bardic and A&S
champion.
Bardic Competition Information
Bring your best to the Elfsea’s Bardic Competition.
Participants will need to have three pieces prepared.
The competition will be two pieces performed and a third should there need
to be a tie-breaker.
Please picture yourself performing at a bardic fire. It is the Baron and
Baroness’s desire that their Bard will be comfortable entertaining around a
fire.

A&S Competition Information: the deadline to enter is Thursday September
15th
This year’s theme will be our future the children
The competitors will be asked to:
1. Display an art or science piece. Documentation is recommended but not
required.
2. Demonstrate their ability to teach an art or science by teaching one
class. The Class does not have to be on the item you are displaying.
3. Send a letter of intent including the class you are teaching for
champion consideration the baron and baroness of Elfsea at
Baron at elfsea.ansteorra.org & Baroness at elfsea.ansteorra.org
4. Please send an email to our class coordinator Mistress Adelaide De
Bourbon at ldyadelaide at hotmail.com with the following information:
Instructor Name, Class title, class description, class length, contact
info, if you prefer to teach in the morning or afternoon, if there is a fee
for your class for supplies and any additional comments that may be helpful.
Teaching at Baronial College
There is still some space available if you are interested in teaching a
class. Please contact Mistress Adelaide De Bourbon at
ldyadelaide at hotmail.com.
You do not have to be competing in the A&S competition to teach a class.

class description, class length, contact info, if you prefer to teach in

The Current list of classes are listed below. Some of these classes may
have class size limits or cost a small fee. More information on this will
be posted next week along with the tentative class schedule.

Volunteers Needed
Gate – we still need people to work gate. If you are interested in working
a gate shift (2 hour shifts), please contact our gate coordinator Johanna
de Verona.
Artisan’s security – We need volunteers to ensure no harm comes to the
beautiful pieces displayed by those competing in the A&S competition. This
will be one hour shifts from 10-2. If you are interested in working a
shift, please let me know.
Set up and Tear down – We will need a few volunteers to assist with set up
before the event and tear down after the event. Set up is tentatively
planned for the Friday evening before the event and tear down will occur
right after the event. More information on this coming soon.
