[DFT] Baronial Announcement

[Baron of Elfsea]

Good gentles – at Defender, we announced our intent to step down as the
Baron and Baroness of Elfsea.  We are very proud of this group and our
Canton.  We have active participation.  It seems that every time we turn
around there is a new person eager and interested in joining us.  Our bank
account is in good shape as a result of all of the events we have hosted.  All
of our officers are in place and excited about helping the Barony grow.



Our intent has always been to leave our successors a healthy Barony; one
that has a good foundation.  With this in mind, we feel it is time to step
down.



Our stepdown will take place at Braggart’s War.  The timeline for polling
and such is still being determined.  An announcement will be made when
plans are finalized.



Thank you for all of the support and affection you have shown us these
three years.  You have shared your art, enthusiasm, and love for the
Kingdom and SCA.  We appreciate all that you are and what you can
accomplish.
