ES - What a way to start the new year!

In reading the Ansteorra list, which some of you may not get, I read that a good friend of mine, Lady Lynette, is lucky to be alive after having a fire gut her apartment in Houston.  I spoke with Mistress Kaitlyn and she said that Lynette (mka Christina Blank) got out with very little and that her kitchen was totally destroyed, including the brand-new Kitchen-Aid mixer that Lynette got for Christmas.  She has no insurance.

I am going through my kitchen stuff and feast gear and seeing what all I can send her way.  She needs everything.  She wears size 16 - 18 Women's clothes and size 9 shoes, but really needs money for cleaning and restoring what has survived.

I will be collecting stuff at Moot to send to her, if you are able to donate anything.

BTW, Lynette's two pet rats were rescued by firefighters and are OK also.
Pretty good, considering that the fire alarms didn't go off.  Hmmm. That reminds me that I need to check ours....
