I like this idea -- and actually my Lord Charles came up with something very
similar too.

We will have *something* (yet to be determined) which will go around during
the Ball and *infect* people.  Also the folk which have contracted the plague
will further carry some kind of (also yet to be determined) *warning* to let
others know they are *infected.*
