ES - Tournament of Love

Come join the Tournament of Love in a celebration of the chivalry upon 
which the SCA was founded. 

Date: Sunday November 8th
Time: 12:00 noon till 2:00 p.m.
Location: Randol Mill Park in Arlington 

Remembering the ideal of chivalry, this tournament will not be about the 
fighter who wins the most battles in the name of his/her consort. This 
tournament is about kindness, graciousness, and honor, not just the of 
the fighters but the of those who sponsor those fighters. 


The rules of the list are as follows:

1. A non-fighter must sponsor each fighter
2. The sponsors on behalf of their fighter will issue challenges
3. Each sponsor may issue only three challenges (though may accept all 
challenges that are issued to them)
4. Each fighter must "sing the praises" of their sponsor (say something 
nice about him/her) every time that fighter takes the field
5. Each sponsor must be supportive and attentive to his/her fighter
6. Everyone will have a wonderful time and good feelings will abound!

Sponsors will vote for the fighter whom they believe has acted with the 
most kindness, honor, graciousness, and chivalry.

Fighters will vote for the sponsor whom they believe has acted with the 
most kindness, honor, graciousness, and chivalry.
