I appreciate your sense of community, and open heart so willing to
share........it is always like you...........

I miss the way it was at my first event.........
The open 'public' area where I came with my children in hand......
being a stranger to SCA land......alone and wanting so much to experience
all the beauty and wonder that I heard others talk about.........
What I have learned from you is community, sharing, caring, and the
courage to keep ones heart open........even when others are closed.
You have been a most wonderful teacher.........and I thank you for all
you have taught/shared with me........(*little tears*)

What I learned from others...........is you have to 'ask permission and
may not be welcomed'...........so I don't travel to distant lands, spend
alot of expense and time on the road to finally get to a place where you
cannot dance, or laugh, or speak to others or try........

I can do that in the mundane world..........

I want to come to a place where people share......where people are not
afraid to "TRY".  Where people "CARE".  I get confused
sometimes............
I  am one that needs the sign or symbol that says "You are welcomed
here".  
A place for others to come and be.   It is along way to walk to find
everyone!
(*sweet smile*)  

My question is this.............
Why would I want to pack up my car and my children and go through the
expense to come to a place where you have to search for those that you
have soooooooo longed to see?  Only to find that 'they' want to be alone?
  Will they not come out of their place long enough to say hello.  

All in all..........I think I feel........
Chivalry is something to be in the hearts of all.........not just the
fighters.
And the code is not an easy one.........but in the end all will look back
on their life and see...........The Beauty of what Ansteorra
is..........and then it will be like a dream..........that came true. 
But you have to come out to see it.......
And i'll always remember the time when I did.......
and did not have to have permissions granted to care............
