Greetings,
This is difficult for me... I feel like I have a conflict of
interest as I'm on the Staff of ATYC... but as a proud and faithful
member of this barony I will put in my small two cents worth and shut
up.
I am hightly in favor of doing tee-shirts for this event, we can
make a good bit of money for our barony and tythe a bit to the kingdom
and everybody's a winner.
I have a problem with black tee-shirts, I can only speak for
myself, as my husband has a different opinion. I will NOT buy a black
teeshirt. they absorb heat and I wear tee-shirts exculsively in the
summer. there that's it.
Now I have an idea... This is just an idea.. Just for
information. William and Cassandra put together a very nice bid. they
did not mention, however, how much the price of the t-shirt separately
versus the cost of the t-shirt AND printing. or in other words, how
much it would cost if WE provided the t-shirts to have a print on it.
I'm looking at my Dharma Trading Company Catalogue current prices.
These are for white t-shirts ready for dying or printing.
The bid laid out prices for Hanes and Fruit of the Loom I'll
start there.
Hanes (5.03 ounce) 100 percent cotton, poly thread, double needle
bottom hems, preshrunk
buy a case of 72 and the prices are:
s-xl - 1.80 each
xxl - 3.05 each
xxxl - 3.38 each
Hanes BEEFY T (heavier - 6.1 OZ)100 percent cotton, poly thread,
double needle stiched, preshrunk
buy a case of 72 and the prices are
s-xl - 2.54 each
xxl - 4.03 each
xxxl - 4.51 each
xxxxl - 5.30 each
Fruit of the Loom PROMO T (5.3 oz)100 percent cotton, poly thread,
preshrunk
buy a case of 72 and the prices are
s-xl - 1.80 each
xxl - 2.99 each
xxxl - 3.38 each
Fruit of the Loom (5.6 oz) best size selection in larger sizes - 100
percent cotton, preshrunk, poly thread
buy a case of 72 and the prices are
s-xl - 1.93 each
xxl - 2.99 each
xxxl - 3.69 each
xxxxl - 4.48 each
They also carry Big guy t-shirts in 3xl, 4xl, 5xl, and 6xl. I have
one of the xxxL t-shirts and boy is it roomy. If your interested in
these let me know.
In William's bid he listed for 2 color print:
Fruit of the Loom
s-xl - 3.59
2xl - 5.17
3xl - 5.42
4xl - 5.99
Hanes
s-xl - 4.18
2xl - 6.20
3xl - 6.53
4xl - 7.31
So the question is ....if we do a white t-shirt, supplied by us, with
a two color print will the bottom outlay save us any money? William
can you contact your printer and see what his cost is for the printing
only if we supply the t-shirts?
Arabella
