RE: ES - violin for mandolin?Big Sigh.......OK. Well.....might as well get it over with.

One evening at Pennsic, Mistress Stasha and Master Richard embarked on a quest for excitement, bringing the young, *innocent*, Armand along with them. (Ssshhh, no laughing.) After inspecting a hoffla (sp?) or two, this merry troupe continued through the expanse of Pennsic to stumble upon a party that featured woad painting, of which Armand had never seen. The painting was free and all were invited to have some lovely artwork applied to themselves. The line was long, as many availed themselves of this opportunity. ALL parts of the anatomy were allowed as canvas for this artwork. (Which, I might add, is not necessarily a good thing). Many then wished to show off their new look around the fire during a Middle Eastern dance session. Having not found the refreshments extraordinarily noteworthy, Mistress Stasha and Master Richard chose to resume their quest. Armand's feet were begging for rest, but reluctantly took him along with his guides. After a short trek, it was decided that the hour was growing late and we should return to our own encampment. However, we were faced with quite a hike back and knew we would encounter several hills along the way. While Armand was tired and ready for bed, his burning feet would not allow the uphill trek home until they had first been given some rest. They knew the woad painting party was near by and that there he would see some.......chairs, and so took him there against his better judgment. Eventually the feet were again happy and Armand quickly removed himself from the debauchery that had been forced upon him. (Armand did manage to escape without any woad painting applied to himself or being forced to dance without a shirt.) While this tale screams for embellishment, I have presented it without such. And that's no small feet. The moral of the story: Beware of tired feet, you never know what trouble they may bring you.

Whose trouble may only be beginning.

Woad painting? Woad painting?!? Aahhh, yes, I seem to recall some
interesting woad painting upon some interesting canvases found at a camp
that my chaperone's led me too. 8->
