As an expectant grandfather (my oldest son and his wife are expecting a boy in May, hopefully by Springfaire),  my congratulations to you and the Laird Grampa as well as best hopes and prayers to the parents.  May their child be a joy and blessing always.

    Greetings to all of you in this the last week of the year!
        Our oldest daughter called us from California this evening to inform Fearghus and myself that she and her husband are expecting a baby in August.  We have decided we are toooo young to be grandparents (Arabella is 37 and Fearghus is 44).  Arabella's mother is really freaking out .... great grandmother at 57!! Guess we'll have to dig out baby stuff from the attic.  You guys keep them in your prayers.  
        Arabella's new name will be Grammy, Fearghus doesn't have one yet.  Granddaddy and Papa are out of the question... any other suggestions?
