If your not interested in My son's health DELETE THIS!

Just so no one worries.

Trevor went in for a Endoscope and PH probe yesterday. I appologize for
missing the business meeting.

An endoscope is a tube with a camera on the end, inserted under
anesthesia, into your throat to view the esophoghus, stomach, and the
first part of the small intestine. trevor came through this just fine,
no damage from stomach acids from reflux. Yeah!
Then they inserted a tube through the nose into the esophagus and
taped it to his face. this measures the acid in the esophagus due to
reflux. You run this test for 24 hours drinking only apple juice every
4 hours and food for only 30 minutes four times - breakfast lunch dinner
and snack at bed time. I even had to wake him in hte middle of the
night to make him drink his apple juice. YUCK!!
Several times he showed numbers that would indicate reflux. a PH
level of 1 to 4 indicated that stomach acid is coming up into the
throat. he had those numbers several times, although I'm not a doctor,
it may have meant nothing. we'll get the results on Tuesday next week.

Having a tube taped to the face of a 4 year old is not condusive to
going to a business meeting, sorry I missed it, and thank you for your
understanding.

He got the tube taken out this morning and we promptly went to have
ice cream for breakfast. You sometimes have to bribe kids to keep them
from being too fussy, besides ice cream for breakfast isn't all that
bad. My mother never did that for ME!!!! - love you guys will let you
all know the results next week!!! Thanks - arabella
