Hey Viv (and anyone else watching this thread),
I read your ideas about the class for demos and how we might better our
presentaion to the general public. I feel now is a good time to add my two
cents (if anyone wants change, see me later.)
I am very proud of the work we do at demos and honored to work with such a
knowledgable group of people. It is not uncommon for me to learn something
new at these events. The trick to making a successful demo for the mundanes
is to explain everything. As many of you know, I am very big on making sure
the audience is told everything that is happening on the field, sort of like
a fight commentator. This also holds true for the static arts and sciences.
I have done several demos with this barony and have been told by many that
they enjoy watching me talk to the crowds. With that said, Crandal and I
are in the early planning stages of Fool's Court and Revel. I suggest we
hold the first round of classes at that time. I am willing to teach and
learn how to convey information to a demo audience in an informative and
entertaining manner. There will also probably be time enough for classes on
demo fighting for both Heavy and Light. (Galen, I believe I read where you
were willing to teach such a class?) These same classes could be presented
again at the Barional College which I believe is in January.

(If you can not express yourself here, it probably is not for public eyes.)

Demos bring in new members. New members bring in new life. New life brings
in fresh ideas. I am fresh out of ideas!!!
