Greetings, Elfsea,

Here is a bitmap and a webpage you should see.  There is a burial site of a Roman woman dating from the 4th century AD with a sarcophagus.  It has this lovely design of scallop shells on the top of it.  Also, they have found bay leaves under the head of the skeleton, and suppose it to be a pillow of sorts.

Sheesh.. You would think that archeologists would recognize a bay laurel wreath when they saw one...
