BTW, I learned to play the drum as a wee child.  My father taught me to play
the bongo drums.

Speaking of drums, Anthony and I got to see the King's Singers and Eileen
(forgot last name).  She is a deaf drummer, and you sure can't tell it to
hear and see her play.  She performs barefoot in order to feel the music.
We went to the concert Tuesday night at Bass Hall.  It was a pretty cool
time with my young escort.  We got to meet one of the King's Singers as we
were leaving.  Unfortunately,  Llywelyn missed it, due to travel.

Just to make him feel better - they didn't do any early music.  It was all
African or African-related.
